What made you found Harmony Wellness?
When Brenda and I first met, we quickly discovered that we shared many values and beliefs about business and life. Our collaboration felt natural, and we knew we could build something special together. From that shared vision, we set out to create Harmony—a space where we could grow our businesses while fostering an environment of support and collaboration.
What is your favorite service?
I love performing any service that makes our guests feel the most confident in their skin. Honestly, I just love everything that I do! From relaxation to results driven, and everything in between!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my daughter, Elliott (10) and my son, Anders. (7) Whether we are traveling for sports activities, spending time outside, or reading and relaxing, any time spent with them is the best time!

Get to Know Melissa
Melissa’s career began at the Salon Professional Academy in Eau Claire, WI. It was here that she earned her Cosmetology License in 2011. Melissa quickly found that her true passion was working with skin, as she saw the dramatic impact she could have on her client’s self-esteem and confidence. This led her to broaden her skills to include customized clinical facials and facial and body waxing. Melissa loves creating customized treatments to achieve the best results for each individual client.
Wanting to broaden her education and experience even further, Melissa sought a position within a plastic surgery office. Working within a medical practice offered Melissa many opportunities to advance her skills and expertise. She obtained certifications in both chemical peels and ingredient knowledge from the prestigious PCA (Physician’s Care Alliance) company. She also became certified to perform microdermabrasion. With this training, Melissa developed a keen interest in treating the condition of hyperpigmentation, dark patches on the skin, as she saw how effective chemical peeling could be in the treatment of this frustrating condition.
It wasn’t long before Melissa pursued advanced training in cosmetic laser technologies. She loves the non-surgical approach to their results and especially gravitated towards non-invasive skin tightening treatments for both their safety and efficacy. Melissa loves educating her clients about ALL of the options available to them, as she believes the more you know and understand, the more empowered you feel about your choices.
Specializing in advanced skin treatment and as Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist, Melissa is constantly following the best training and certifications. She believes that beyond any piece of equipment or product, the most valuable tool skin therapists have in their toolbox to give you your best skin is their knowledge.
